School Counselors

The PASS lab has worked with multiple school counselors who graduated from VCU. These school counselors worked on the IES Goal 3 study evaluating the efficacy of the school-based interventions for young adolescents with ADHD (to learn more about the study they worked on, see our research with Middle School age students). They implemented interventions for middle school students with ADHD in the Chesterfield Public School District. These counselors served close to 300 students, providing individual intervention focused on improving efficiency and focus during homework completion and organization, time-management and planning skills. These counselors have gone on to take positions in local school districts.
